Domestic violence is common in our society. It does not discriminate by limiting itself to one class on the social register. No, it affects everyone, rich and poor alike. In the back of the church there is a card entitled “Help for Victims of Abuse.” Whether you are a victim of abuse of not, take one.The card provides phone numbers to call and advise in case assistance is needed. If you are not being abused, keep this card for general information, or pass it on to someone you suspect is a victim of abuse. Above all, please pray for these survivors and the people who are involved with them.

Christian Mothers and Christmas in July

The Christian Mothers will be collecting hygiene products for Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare patients during July. With more men than women, men’s items are in the greatest need. (Shampoo/conditioner, body/hand lotion, deoderant,hairbrushes/combs, bath sponges, body wash, dusting powder,talcum powder/foot powder, cosmetics -all kinds and shades.)

The MYSTERY AUCTION DINNER will be on
August 31st at 6:30 p.m. Accompanying this event there will be a Chicken Noodle Dinner.
